Travel Grant Scheme

Cairngorms National Park

One of the key barriers that teachers and groups face to learning outside the classroom is the high cost of travel. This travel grant scheme, funded by the Park Authority, helps to overcome this barrier, offering schools and voluntary groups from across Scotland up to 75% of transport costs, up to £300 to visit the Cairngorms National Park.

Edina Trust

The Edina Trust offers £800 primary school science grants and £550 nursery science grants. Schools can use their grants for science resources, gardening equipment, science weeks, science subscriptions, science visits (into or out of school) and improving school grounds for science.

Sea Changers

Marine conservation charities and not for profit organisations (including schools) based and working in the UK can apply for grants of up to £2,500 towards projects and research that address the root causes of marine conservation threats and challenges in the UK, and increase the number of people taking action for marine conservation.
