Our Learning Beyond LOtC Mentoring programme has been developed to support teachers and educators who are just starting to take their teaching beyond the classroom or who feel they need extra support to take their LOtC further.
LOtC Mentoring in brief
Signing up for Mentoring gives you:
- 1:1 mentoring support from a LOtC Hub School or other specialist for two terms,
- Support from CLOtC staff,
- Access to the LOtC Progress Tracker and support guides,
- Online core CPD sessions and additional training,
- Two years’ free CLOtC membership which includes discounts on in-person training, free resources and regular updates.
LOtC Mentoring explained
During online meetings, your mentor will guide you through the LOtC Progress Tracker: a framework to help you to develop a whole-school approach to LOtC. You will create an action plan together and for two terms, with your mentor’s support, work on embedding learning beyond the classroom at your school or setting.
At the end of this time, you will be confident in planning and delivering quality LOtC that has a positive impact on your students’ learning, health and well-being and personal development. If you choose to, you can then be assessed for the LOtC Mark to celebrate your progress.

Cost
£670 payable at the start of your journey.
This fee includes access to an online Learning Platform, LOtC Progress Tracker, two terms mentoring from a LOtC Hub School, support from CLOtC staff, assessment for the LOtC Mark and two years of free CLOtC membership to access online CPD sessions and other resources.
