Diverse School Travel have partnered with CLOtC to offer every school, that books with them, free CLOtC Membership, LOtC Mark and Mentoring, reinforcing their commitment to supporting meaningful educational experiences beyond the classroom walls.
How schools can benefit:
Every school/educational setting that books with Diverse School Travel will be offered free CLOtC membership, giving them instant access to support and CPD to help them take more of their daily teaching and learning beyond the classroom, and which is strongly evidenced to deliver multiple outcomes to student learning, health, wellbeing, and socio-emotional development.
In addition to the free membership, schools can also opt to join one of CLOtC’s ‘Learning Beyond’ pathways of support. These pathways are proven to help educational settings embed and develop high-quality learning outside the classroom (LOtC) across their policy and practice, and equip their staff with the tools and confidence then need to extend learning and increase student engagement, achievement, and wellbeing.
The details of this offer are outlined below:
Schools booking a trip at min. £199pp (based on a min. group size of 20 students) will be eligible for free CLOtC membership offer.
Schools booking a trip at min. £299pp (based on a min. group size of 30 students) will be eligible for free CLOtC membership offer or Mark Direct pathway offer.
Schools booking a trip at min. £399pp (based on a min. group size of 30 students) will be eligible for free CLOtC membership offer or Mark Direct pathway offer or Mentoring pathway offer.
Terms & Conditions:
- Free CLOtC Membership is for one year only and is for schools and educational settings who currently do not have CLOtC Membership.
- LOtC Mark and Mentoring includes CLOtC Membership and it available to schools who are not already working on these pathways.
- Schools that sign up for the LOtC Mark or Mentoring have up to three years on this pathway: one year to work through the support pathway and complete a progress tracker, and another two should they wish to be assessed and awarded for the LOtC Mark.
- This a one-time offer per school: once a school has initially received free CLOtC Membership, LOtC Mark or Mentoring, Diverse School Travel will not continue to pay for their membership renewal or LOtC Mark/Mentoring reassessment fee should the school wish to continue.
- Schools will need to notify Diverse School Travel when booking if they’d like one of these options above. Following which, will be contacted by CLOtC to access membership, LOtC Mark or Mentoring.
- Your data: Relevant information (including contact name, email, telephone, and school name and address) that you give to Diverse School Travel on booking will be shared with the Council For Learning Outside the Classroom for the purpose of administering your membership/LOtC Mark/Mentoring application and sharing relevant LOtC news and updates. If you opt in to receive School Travel Organiser Magazine, CLOtC will share your personal data with Yandell Publishing to administer your subscription.
