CLOtC Event: Supporting Schools in England with the Enrichment Framework – A guide for OEA/EVAs

Wednesday 15th July @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Enrichment Framework is placing a welcome emphasis on the importance of high-quality enrichment opportunities as part of every young person’s education. But what does this mean for schools, and how can Outdoor Education Advisers/Education Visit Advisers support them?

We will look at the overlap between learning outside the classroom (LOtC) and enrichment, and how schools can build on their existing LOtC activities to create a whole school enrichment programme, whether these happen during the school day or beyond, on or off-site, and teacher or third party-led.

The session will help us explore and build awareness of the vital role that OEAs/EVAs can play in supporting schools to recognise, coordinate and evidence their enrichment provision. We will showcase the Learning Beyond resources and tried-and-tested tools that can help OEAs/EVAs support schools to audit, map, develop, embed and evidence their enrichment provision, alongside the support available to help schools on their enrichment journey. There will also be dedicated time for discussion, giving participants the opportunity to share the work they are already doing, exchange ideas and examples of good practice, and explore how we can work together to support schools in responding to the Government’s Enrichment Framework.

This is a free event is for Outdoor Education Advisers/Education Visits Advisers.
