The Leisure and Recreation sector including Trampoline Parks is assessed by British Activity Providers Association, BAPA.
Why BAPA is the Awarding Body for the Leisure and Recreation Sector including Trampoline Parks
BAPA has worked alongside CLOtC to enable a route for the badging of activity providers who do not fit into one of the other sectors. This includes working with the International Association of Trampoline Parks and the OEAP to support trampoline parks to offer high quality facilities and a range of experiences and learning opportunities linked to a school’s curriculum.
The Assessment Procedure
- Email BAPA to discuss the process.
- After your discussion, they will email you a link to apply for BAPA membership.
- You will be supported by BAPA staff to develop your risk management and quality of your educational provision to ensure you meet the required LOtC Quality Badge criteria and can meet the BAPA Code of Practice.
- Complete a self-evaluation process in preparation for an inspection.
- Face to Face inspection including an observation of an activity by a BAPA inspector.
Please note applications for trampoline parks are currently paused as the assessment process is under review but in the meantime, please do contact BAPA to register your interest.
