Welcome to round-up of LOtC Mark awards for August to October 2023. Every few months we’ll be announcing the names of the schools who have been awarded the Bronze, Silver and Gold LOtC Mark.
The LOtC Mark celebrates schools and educational settings who provide meaningful experiences beyond the classroom across the whole curriculum, indoors and out, on and off-site. Learning outside the classroom (LOtC) is a well-evidenced practice that enhances children’s learning and supports positive physical and mental health outcomes. The Mark provides schools with a supportive development framework to help them embed LOtC within their curriculum and create a culture of LOtC across the whole school.
Find out how we can help your school to develop their LOtC practice through our Learning Beyond programme of support. Use our searchable map to locate LOtC Mark holders including those currently working on their LOtC journey.
