We are pleased to announce that another 20 schools will receive a year’s free membership to the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC), thanks to generous funding provided by EVOLVE Advice.
This fantastic opportunity will support schools to develop and embed learning beyond the classroom (LOtC) at their schools/educational setting, and give staff the confidence to offer their students high-quality LOtC experiences that have impact. CLOtC membership offers a range of benefits, including:

20 free school memberships are available.
The 20 free memberships are offered on a first-come-first-served basis to schools and educational settings that are not currently CLOtC Members – you don’t need to be an EVOLVE Advice client to benefit (see below for terms and conditions).
Application is via an online form. The first twenty schools to complete the form will get free CLOtC membership for one year (worth £130 per establishment – prices correct at January 2026).
The free membership offer opened on 20 January 2026 and will close once all twenty memberships have been claimed.
EVOLVE Advice has funded twenty places to support schools and the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom; it is not involved in the membership process.

Free membership is for one year only and is for schools and educational settings who are not currently CLOtC members or who have not previously benefitted from Free CLOtC Membership
The offer will close when all 20 memberships have been claimed.
Once twenty free memberships have been allocated, any further entrants will be redirected to the CLOtC website.
There is no cash or other alternative.
Your data: The information you enter into the sign up form will be shared with EVOLVE Advice and the Council For Learning Outside the Classroom for the purpose of administering your membership application and sharing relevant LOtC news and updates. If you opt in to receive the School Travel Organiser Magazine, CLOtC will share your personal data with Yandell Publishing to administer your subscription.
