This course aims to equip staff with the essential knowledge required to undertake appropriate risk assessment and risk management on educational visits. Learners will be introduced to strategies used for risk management and risk assessment, including how to implement the STAGED approach.
The course covers guidance and statutory requirements; good practice in risk management; proportionality in risk assessment; and an understanding of the relationship between the school and the Provider’s risk assessments.
This course is aimed at new and existing Visit Leaders, Assistant Leaders, EVCs and SLT in all schools in England and Wales.
