Delivered by: David Ascough, Pharos Response
This online session will support providers and venues delivering educational programmes to schools to review and strengthen their site security emergency response procedures. Suitable for organisations of all sizes and settings – indoor and outdoor – the session will cover a range of potential incidents, including lockdown and invacuation, evacuation and hostile threat responses such as Run, Hide, Tell.
The session will also explore the key principles of Martyn’s Law and what proportionate preparedness might look like for education-focused venues, regardless of whether you will fall in scope of this new law or not. Realistic scenarios will be used throughout to prompt discussion, reflection, and shared learning.
