We are delighted to officially launch the CLOtC National Conference 2026, taking place on Thursday 12 November 2026 at RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey, a proud LOtC Quality Badge holder.
This year’s conference theme, Engage, Connect, Enrich, reflects the vital role that learning beyond the classroom plays in supporting young people’s educational experiences, wellbeing and personal development. The conference will bring together 300 delegates from across the education and learning outside the classroom sector, including schools, providers and partners, for a day of inspiration, collaboration and shared practice.
Recognised as one of the most popular and vibrant events in the learning outside the classroom calendar, the CLOtC National Conference offers a unique opportunity to explore how high-quality, well-planned experiences beyond the classroom can enrich learning, strengthen connections and engage all young people.
A day of inspiration, learning and connection
Delegates can expect a dynamic programme featuring inspiring speakers, a wide range of engaging workshops aligned to the conference theme, and plenty of opportunities for discussion, reflection and networking. The event is designed to support educators and providers to share good practice, explore current challenges and opportunities, and strengthen partnerships across the sector.
Events such as the CLOtC National Conference play a crucial role in championing learning beyond the classroom. High-quality experiences outside the classroom help young people develop confidence, resilience, curiosity and real-world understanding, while supporting academic learning, wellbeing and inclusion. Bringing professionals together to learn from one another is essential to ensuring these opportunities remain accessible, safe and impactful for all.
