Accreditations for learning outside the classroom

LOtC Resource Provider Award

Since the launch of the LOtC Quality Badge in February 2009, there have been a great number of enquiries from organisations who provide educational products and services, but don’t work directly with users. These organisations cannot meet the criteria for the LOtC Quality Badge; however they can provide such an important tool for teachers to facilitate frequent, continuous and progressive learning outside the classroom for their pupils that CLOtC has now developed a national award scheme to recognise this.

The LOtC Resource Provider Award is intended to recognise those organisations that provide products and services which genuinely assist teachers in delivering LOtC, and work with users to ensure that this is the case. The award criteria also provide a framework for resource providers to ensure that their products and services meet the needs of users.
