Experiential Educational Walks

Wednesday 02 June 2010

Film Historian Sandra Shevey has begun a series of school-orientated walking tours celebrating the great city of London.

Shevey, a BFI Associate Tutor, age 66, runs walks around Alfred Hitchcock locations and London`s old street markets.

The revised school prospectus will emphasize elements of heritage, citizenship and legacy in terms of presentation.

The Alfred Hitchcock walk runs Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11am for 3 hours.

Sandra is also available to talk about either or both and runs talks using storyboards; soundbites from her 1972 interview with director Alfred Hitchcock; and mounts.  She has curated exhibitions at the St. Martin`s reference library and lectures at the National Portrait Gallery and Barbican Cinema.
