Welcome to the 3rd annual Learning Outside the Classroom Awards for Excellence and Innovation in association with Sponsored by TUI - Student Division. These Awards recognise the commitment of educational establishments (such as schools, early years settings and youth organisations) providing valuable and positive learning experiences for young people (0-19yrs) beyond the classroom.
Last year's winners, Sandhill View School, Sunderland scooped the top national prize for its determination to get all of its students out and about through regular educational visits and creative approaches to the curriculum. Read more about Sandhill View.
This year the top national prize of a tailor-made residential visit to Chateau du Molay will be offered by TUI-Student Division. We are also proud to welcome on board

NST as the official award sponsors for Best LOtC Provision 7-11(KS2) and Best LOtC Provision 11-19 (KS3-5) respectively.
With the nomination stage now closed, the judging panel will be looking for establishments that are working hard to create novel, innovative and inspirational approaches to learning beyond the classroom. The winners of the of the LOtC Awards 2010 will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in December with our special guest speaker, TV and radio presenter, cartoonist and creator of the Fosdyke Saga, Bill Tidy.
