Working with Challenging Behaviour in the Outdoors part 1

Wednesday 10 November 2010 — Wednesday 10 November 2010

This day is aimed at Forest school leaders in particular and will look at the factors that lead to challenging behaviour including culture, self and place, the neural links to behaviour, triggers and socio/economic factors. We will then move into looking at de-escalation skills and leaders interactions with challenging behaviour. Policies, legislation and case studies will be examined during the day. Those who attend this course can go on to participate in the 2 day Part 2 accredited course on March 14th/15th; it also stands alone as an introduction. If you attend both courses there is a 10% reduction in cost.

Trainers: Simon Shakespeare, Sarah Robertshaw and Jon Cree Cost £135.00
