Look at how teeth relate to diet in this interactive workshop. Pupils will handle, observe and compare a variety of animal skulls in order to identify different shapes of teeth. They will use and develop their scientific knowledge to understand that the shape of teeth makes them useful for different purposes and that animals have different diets.
 
The learning themes for this activity are teeth and eating, using observations to draw conclusions, using scientific knowledge and understanding to explain observations, making comparisons and identifying associations. It is suitable for Key Stage 2, Years 3-4.
