LOtC Heroes face the public vote!

The shortlisted nominees for the Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Learning Outside the Classroom 2012 have now been selected and it’s down to you to vote for the winners!

The awards recognise individuals and teams of people who have made a significant impact on the lives of children and young people through their commitment and dedication to providing and/or championing exciting and inspiring learning outside the classroom (LOtC) opportunities.

Earlier this year, we invited you to nominate your LOtC Heroes whose work supports the aims of the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. The breadth of entries has been inspirational, from educators to innovators and campaigners to champions. The nominees excelled in all aspects of LOtC provision ensuring that thousands of young people nationwide have regular access to learning experiences beyond the classroom walls.

Sadly, we could only put a handful of nominees through to the final shortlist, so after much deliberation and consideration, the judges have made their decision. Now, it’s over to you to vote for the winners of this year’s awards in the following categories

  • LOtC Innovator 2012
  • LOtC Inspiring Educator 2012
  • Lifetime contribution to LOtC 2012
  • Celebrity LOtC Champion 2012

The power is in your hands!

Read all of the nominee profiles and place your vote today. Then take the opportunity to see the winners revealed at the awards drinks and dinner reception on the 15th November after the CLOtC annual conference – Raising Attainment Through LOtC.
