This half day training session (with a FREE optional tour of AmeyCespa Waste Management Centre) is designed to support you in integrating LOtC across the curriculum and embedding LOtC into the everyday life of your school. The training will help you to understand the benefits of LOtC and how to use it most effectively to support outstanding teaching and help all pupils achieve their full potential.
The training will also inspire and empower you to get children out and about more often, help you develop your lesson ideas and support you in finding practical solutions to any perceived barriers to LOtC. The training will help you:
- Understand LOtC and its benefits to pupils and teachers
- Identify an approach to LOtC that works for you
- Take the next step to embedding LOtC into the every school day
- Inspire you to be creative and innovative with lesson planning
- Make the most of the LOtC opportunities around you
- Overcome any perceived barriers to LOtC and take lessons outside with confidence
- Identify the right support.

Following the CPD training you are invited to take a tour of the site with the education staff at Amey Cespa Waste Management, which is a LOtC Quality Badge Holder.
