This report describes a strategy for raising attainment in boys’ writing. A number of underachieving boys were identified as in danger of failing to make progress in this area. Most of these children had been identified as having social / emotional difficulties and/or learning difficulties. A new strategy was developed that considered the specific areas of interest for these particular children. Most were identified as kinaesthetic learners. Read the full Shenton Primary case study.
